After the unfortunate events in Japan, March 2011, 'Papergirl Manchester' wanted to put on an Art Sale in order to raise funds for the Red Cross Tsunami appeal and put out a call for designers to create a poster for the event.

Textbook Studio volunteered their design skills and asked me to do the illustration. We pitched a few idea's but papergirl went with our origami poster idea. The posters not only advertised the event but could be rebuilt into traditional Japanese Cranes. 50 Screen-printed posters were available for sale at the event for £1 each. We then helped people construct these into cranes throughout the evening.
